Terms of Use

Draft for review: confirm pricing, trial terms, provider name, and governing law, and have these terms reviewed before App Store submission. These terms supplement Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA); if you have not agreed to a custom EULA in App Store Connect, Apple's standard EULA applies to your use of the app.

1. The service

MealGen AI generates 7-day meal plans from your nutrition targets and food preferences, provides combined shopping lists, and offers meal, water, and nutrition tracking with Apple Health integration. Features may change over time, and AI-generated plans are limited to a set number of generations per week as shown in the app.

2. Accounts

You need a MealGen AI account to use planning and tracking features. Keep your credentials secure and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

3. Premium subscriptions

• Plans: MealGen AI Premium is offered as an auto-renewing monthly or annual subscription purchased through your Apple Account. Current App Store pricing is US $9.99 per month or US $49.99 per year; the exact localized price is shown by the App Store before you confirm.
• Free trial: if a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends. Any unused portion of a trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Renewal: payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends, unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours beforehand.
• Managing and cancelling: manage or cancel anytime in your device Settings under your Apple Account subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
• Premium features: Premium unlocks AI meal-plan generation (subject to weekly limits), nutrition-label scanning, and full trends history, as described in the app. Free features remain available without a subscription.

4. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no unlawful use, no attempts to access other users' data, no circumventing generation limits or paywalls, and no automated scraping or abuse of the generation endpoints. We may enforce fair-use limits to keep generation reliable for everyone.

5. Not medical advice

MealGen AI provides general nutrition planning and tracking for informational purposes only. It is not medical, dietetic, or health advice and is not a substitute for a qualified professional. Nutrition values may be estimated and can be inaccurate; verify label information where it matters, and consult a healthcare professional about your individual needs, conditions, or medications.

6. Intellectual property

The app, site, and their content (excluding your own logs and data) belong to MealGen AI or its licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app under these terms and Apple's EULA.

7. Availability and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Generated plans and nutrition estimates may contain errors. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Termination and changes

You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time via Support. We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date, and continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
